Si algu ha visitat aquest bloc abans, ja sabrà que sóc una mica antiguat, i em nego a tirar els cassettes de video o de musica encara! Pos, el temps m'acaba donant la rao - el diumenge dia 18 va sortir un article a El Punt celebrant l'invent del cassette, i explicant que potser tornaran a viure :) Els article aqui i aqui.Per celebrar-ho, avui he posat un de cassettes, gravat a l'any 1984 d'un disc en vinil de la biblioteca de Barnsley - i sona com a nou! Bob Marley.
Ara només cal esperar que es tornen a posar de moda les teles ene blanc i negre ....

As anyone who's ever seen this blog before may know, I'm still holding on to my video and audio cassettes. This modern fashion of digital stuff is all well and good, but ... well, just to prove me right, last weekend there were two articles in the Catalan newspaper El Punt celebrating the anniversary of the music cassette, explaining its history, and winding up by saying they are coming back into fashion - especially among young up and coming musicians who find it a quick, and easy way to make demos.
To celebrate this, today we've put a Bob Marley cassette on - originally recorded back in 1984, copying a record from Barnsley library. And it sounds as good as the first day - that is, it sounds OK!
So, don't throw that black and white telly away, they may be the next thing to come back into fashion ....
