Fa un parell de dies vam escoltar cantar als The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, més coneguda per ... tocar l'ukulele. Un instrument que fa 2 o 3 anys que torna a estar de moda a Anglaterra. Aixó probablement és degut al fet que, dis-ho post-modernisme, dis-ho frikisme, avui en dia tot val; també l'instrument és molt popular ja que molts de col·legis ho agafen com instrument d'elecció, per ser petit, barat, i facil d'aprendre (diuen!). Aquí amb estan amb Teenage Kicks (O'Neill), originalment un hit de l'any1978, dels The Undertones.

Wednesday Week - The Undertones
Mentre no sé si estem en escac o escac i mat amb la situació del cementeri nuclear – suposo que tot depèn de la força de la Generalitat de fer prevaler la seva postura, la qual per fi sembla clar – pos, continuarem amb la música.
Wednesday Week (O’Neill) dels The Undertones. El grup nord-irlandès va incloure aquesta single, juntament amb el més conegut My Perfect Cousin, al seu LP de l’any 1980, Hypnotised.
We are still waiting for the final moves in the long fight regarding the nuclear waste site proposed for our area - the Catalan government, and local population are against it, but the mayor and town council have voted in favour. Let’s go on with the show ...
