Com que els divendres són una mica diferents, avui hem buscat alguna cosa al calaix de la música clàssica. El diumenge passat vam assistir als Diumenges en Família a l’auditori de Tortosa on la companyia A Tot representaven, i de quina manera més bona, entretinguda i educativa, el Carnaval dels Animals. Evidentment en tornar a casa, degut als coneixements nuls de música clàssica (els quals arriben fins al Roll Over Beethoven, del Chuck Berry), vaig tirar mà del Wikipedia!
Aquest suite musical d’uns 25 minuts, va ser compost per Camille Saint-Saëns a l’any 1886. Els 14 diferents moviments representen diferents animals al so dels instruments més variats - aquí tenim el Aquari, que ens fa imaginar la vida marina.

Fridays often throw up something a little different. Today a little magic out of the classical music drawer ... last Sunday we were lucky enough to go to the Sunday Family Theatre session in Tortosa where they were performing the Carnival of the Animals – in an educational and entertaining way aimed at young children. My knowledge regarding classical music going only as far as Chuck Berry’s Roll Over Beethoven meant a quick search on the Wikipedia when we got home! Here goes. This musical suite, about 25 minutes in length, was composed by Camille Saint-Saëns in 1886.
