The Pan Within - The Waterboys #Concerts

Pos, a l'abril van venir, i ho vam saltar - massa seny! Aixi que, avui toca escoltar-los.
....
As regular visitors (i.e. unemployed people - half of Catalonia - or those with a generous tolerance for these half-baked rants) to this blog may have noticed, a recurring theme is that of concerts. That is, all those 80s' concerts I managed to see thanks to a generous government university grant, and all those concerts I don't go to anymore - down to general changes in aims in life, family, work, Brussels economic policies etc. We've probably only been to 4 (paying ones) in the last 5 years.
Many of my favourite groups and singers have been and gone to Barcelona, but we haven't been up to see them. However, we always said if the Waterboys ever came ... well, they've been, and we didn't go. Too much common sense I hear you shout.
So, we'll just have to make do with a song...

  1. some memories are better left as rose tinted ones perhaps? I know I've watched some old cartoons and things that I used to love as a child.... and then when you actually see them again.... well, meh!
