Bé, ha passat la Vaga General i la crisi continua. Avui potser que la meva reflexió és una mica d’advocat del diable, o simplement potser no té res a vore amb el tema ..... sembla que passem la vida fotent la culpa als bancs, als governs, fins i tot als sindicats, però també potser hem de mirar a natros mateixos. Qui ens ha obligat a agafar els diners facíls que oferien els bancs? Qui ens ha obligat a votar cada 4 anys per “més del mateix”? Aquesta setmana una de les noticies que més m’ha xocat és la de la cantitat de gent que es cola cada dia pel metro de Barcelona sense pagar. Tots hem vist aquelles pel·lícules americanes on la gent agafa el diari i deixa els diners sense cap “control”. Tant de bo no hi hagin portes a les entrades del metro i la gent compris l’entrada igual – és un somni? Mentre no som responsables i honrats natros mateixos, no cal que ho demanem als demés – trobo jo!

One General Strike later and we’re still struggling to reach the end of the month here, both individually and as a country. Thinking out of the box (as the experts say), though, maybe we’ve blamed the government, banks, and unions enough, and it’s time to accept our share of the blame for this crisis. Who makes us borrow the easy money banks offer? Who makes us vote for “more of the same” every 4 years? This week Catalan news explained that thousands of Metro (the underground/subway) users sneak through the gates without paying every day. Whatever happened to those people we see in American films getting their newspapers and leaving the money with no one watching over them? Who are we to be blaming everyone else for this mess when honesty and responsibility starts with ourselves. So endeth the sermon!
