Avui és el Dia d’Acció Blocaire, aquest any relacionat amb el tema aigua.
M’aixeco i vaig al lavabo. Tiro la cadena, aigua. Em dutxo, aigua. Esmorzem, tassa de te, aigua. Rento les dents, més aigua.
Pujem al cotxe, que necessita aigua per funcionar. A treballar, potser farem un cafe – aigua. A dinar, verdures regades amb aigua, rentades amb aigua, alguna cosa per a beure – aigua ... i així podríem continuar. Tal com diuen, l’aigua és vida, i la vida és aigua. És molt fàcil parlar des d’Europa, tenint tot el que tenim, i si volem més només és qüestió de ficar-ne diners. És molt fàcil pensar per un dia en la immensa quantitat de gent al mon que no tenen aigua en bon estat, o simplement no tenen aigua. Demà serà un altre dia, el Dia Internacional del tema XXX i passarem pagina. Aixó natros – però, maluradament hi ha gent que no podran passar pagina, que ni tenen blocs ni tenen les nostres condicions de vida. Demà continuaran patint. Algun dia sortirem del cicle? Les coses estan millorant?
La cançó de Creedence Clearwater Revival, Have You Ever Seen The Rain (has vist mai la pluja?), ens parla dels cicles de l’aigua, de la vida.

Get up, go to the toilet, water. Shower, water. Breakfast, cup of tea anyone? Water. Teeth, wtaer.
In the car and off to work, the car needs water. At work maybe a coffee or two, more water. Lunch, vegetables irrigated with water and washed in water. And so on ... As they say, water is life, life is water. It’s very easy to write this sittting here in Europe with all the water we need, and if we want more, just open your wallet. It’s easy to spare a moment to think about the millions of people who do not have access to water in good conditions, or who simply do not have water. Tomorrow will be another day, International Day of Bla Bla Bla and our thoughts will move on. However, there are many people out there who cannot move on, who have neither our state of well-being nor blogs to preach from. Tomorrow they still suffer. Will this cycle ever be broken? Are things getting better?
